Avengers leak? FIRST LOOK at Scorpion in Spider-Man Far From Home

Last year Michael Mando played Mac Gargan in Spider-Man Homecoming. fans will remember he also featured in the mid-credits scene, in what appeared to be a tease for the formation of the Sinister Six.

In jail, Michael Keaton’s Vulture is approached by Gargan aka Scorpion, who has heard he knows the true identity of Spider-Man.

While Keaton is confirmed to appear in Spider-Man Far From Home, which sees Jake Gyllenhaal as main villain Mysterio, Mando is not in the cast list.

Nevertheless, on IMDB one crew member is listed as “assistant [to] Mr Mando”.

With this in mind, it looks pretty certain we’ll be seeing at least a cameo from Scorpion in Spider-Man Far From Home.

And now what is alleged to be a possible concept art leak of Scorpion in the film has hit the internet.

Posted by Marvel News India, the costume is green with a long Scorpion’s tail and foot blades.

Apart from looking quite faithful to the comics, the style is reminiscent of Corey Stoll’s Yellojacket villain in the first Ant-Man movie.

Reddit user xPandoom123x posted a picture from the first shot highlighting a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.

Literally, as the scene begins six birds fly over the prison ceiling window, which Michael Keaton’s Vulture notices just before meeting Scorpion.

The Reddit user writes: “In the mid-credit scene for Spider-Man: Homecoming, many of you may notice that everything that takes place is a set up for the Sinister Six in the future.”

They added: “From Vulture and Scorpion taking to each other in jail to the reference of ‘some guys on the outside’ that would like to kill Spider-Man, it’s pretty clear the intention of the scenes.

“But one thing I did notice, is something that I haven’t seen anyone else cover yet.”

“If you look closely at the very beginning of the clip, you’ll see birds flying over an open window that cuts to Adrian Toomes [Vulture] walking down a jail corridor.

“But what people haven’t noticed…is how many birds it was that flew over the window.”

Spider-Man Far From Home is released in UK cinemas in July 2019.
