Avengers Infinity War: WHAT exactly happens in Scotland? REVEALED 'We blew it up'

In April last year some of the MCU’s biggest stars sneaked into Scotland and filmed major set pieces.

Some of those scenes have already been hinted in the recent trailers.

Now Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, has revealed just how epic the Infinity War scenes in Scotland will be.

Incredibly, Captain America (now Nomad), Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon and Hulk are involved in some of the darkest moments of the movie.

Mackie was talking to ScreenRant when he teased: “Tore it up. Scotland will never be the same. It was murder. We blew it up.”

The scenes were mainly shot at night across two gruelling weeks.

Other recent features have confirmed that the Scotland scenes take place earlier in the movie and centre on the brutal attack on Vision and Scarlet Witch by Thanos’ minions and now we know what happens after that.

WARNING SPOILERS:

A new special edition of Empire magazine confirmed that Nomad, Falcon and Black Widow burst in and save Vision.

This is the moment from the trailer when Vision is screaming in agony as Black Order members Proxima Midnight (another of Thanos’ daughters) and Corvus Glaive use a metal claw to try and rip the Mind Stone from is forehead.

Many fans had feared this was the moment Vision died but Empire revealed that the three heroes “rescue” him.

Director Anthony Russo also confirmed Vision will survive since he will be at the heart of the movie’s epic climax.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Russo said: “Vision is a living MacGuffin. Obviously, that raises the stakes because Vision’s life is in danger, and his life is in conflict with Thanos’ goals, so something’s got to give.

“Cap makes the decision to bring [Vision] here to Wakanda. Earth is making its last stand to keep the stone from Thanos. It’s the best place to make your last stand.”

It seems almost certain that theclimax of Infinity War will show all the heroes rally to save Vision from Thanos’s invasion of Wakanda.
