Avengers Infinity War: Did you spot this HUGE secret HIDDEN in the poster?

The Marvel movie is due for release next Spring and promises to unite a huge number of heroes from past movies – as well as supervillain Thanos (Josh Brolin).

It’s already been suggested that the delay in the trailer’s release was to avoid spoilers from Thor: Ragnarok, which has had a lot of success since its release a few weeks ago.

Warning: one of those spoilers lies ahead.

Those who have seen the latest MCU caper will know that Thor loses his right eye towards the end of the film, and ends it wearing an Odin-style patch over the socket.

Sure enough, that same spoiler was subtly hidden in the Infinity War poster.

If you look at Thor in the top-left corner, he is turned away from the camera, such that his right eye is completely obstructed from view.

Was this a deliberate move to avoid spoiling the fact that one of his eyes would be lost before Infinity War starts? It certainly seems the case.

As for whether any other key details are hidden in the image? Simply put, we just won’t know until we can look back on it with hindsight.

In fact, there’s not a lot else we can glean factually until we finally have the trailer, whenever that may come.

In the meantime, fan theories have been keeping MCU enthusiasts occupied, and Black Panther will dish up more goodness from the studio in the New Year.

Infinity War will lead in to Avengers 4, which is being filmed back-to-back. Its title is still under wraps.

Avengers: Infinity War is out on April 27 in the UK.
