Avengers 4: Is THIS how Deadpool could appear in the Avengers Infinity War sequel?

Deadpool 2 is currently in cinemas and challenging the box office success of Avengers Infinity War for No 1 this weekend.

But with a Disney/Fox merger in the works, is it possible Deadpool could pop up in ‘s Avengers 4 and finally join the MCU with the X-Men and Fantastic Four?

One Reddit user certainly thinks so, suggesting crossing the multi-verse could make the crossover a possibility.

theorises: “I have a speculation that Deadpool could appear in the next instalment of the Avengers films, but it would have to be done in a very, very delicate way, considering the nature of Deadpool’s personality and mouth.”

They continued: “If the running theory of the MCU multiverse plays out to be true, and we see Stark, Ant-Man, and possibly Cap travelling to an alternate universe to recover the Infinity Stones residing there to bring back to our universe to defeat Thanos, perhaps they could encounter Deadpool in that universe as well.

“I like to imagine Deadpool in that universe as being very vanilla and given his nature of knowing he’s in a comic book/film, he absolutely hates being that way (because he knows he has to be for the sake of the movie).

“If they did do it, they would also need to do it in such a way where it doesn’t disrupt the integrity of the established tone of the Avengers films.

“I just really like the idea of this version of Deadpool helping out our heroes and being overly nice and clean cut.”

They added: “It would be fun if, when they return to our universe, they encounter our Deadpool (who of course, knows what happened) and apologises for them having to deal with ‘that guy.’”

How exactly this would work when Josh Brolin plays both Thanos and Cable is beyond us, but sounds like a lot of fun!

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
