Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus DLC rolls out between now and March

The fight against Nazi America doesn’t end by the time you see the credits in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The dark middle chapter also gives you plenty of ways to keep fighting as well, and that includes The Freedom Chronicles downloadable content. Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Machine Games have already launched Episode Zero of the DLC for anyone who preordered Wolfenstein II or purchased the $ 25 season pass. By the end of March, the companies will unleash the rest of the Freedom Chronicles installments as well.

The Freedom Chronicles is an anthology that breaks players away from traditional series hero BJ Blazkowicz. In the Episode Zero, you meet the stars of the rest of the season: Joseph Stallion (heh), Jessica Valiant, and Gerald Wilkins. This new crew has their own offensive abilities and weapons, and their adventure gives you a unique view of the fight for the American territories.

The rest of the season includes The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, The Diaries of Agent Silent Death, and The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins, and it is exclusively part of the $ 25 add-on pass. Machine plays these up as pulp action adventures with promotional art to match.

Gunslinger Joe’s story debuts December 14. It dives into the story of Joseph Stallion, who is a former pro football QB who fights Nazis in Chicago.

Silent Death goes live January 30. It has you playing as Jessica Valiant, who is a former agent for the Office of Strategic Services. She uncovers and infiltrates a secret Californian installation that hides the mysterious Nazi plot called Operation San Andreas.

Finally, Captain Wilkins premieres in March. You play as Army hero Gerald Wilkins who must take out Operation Black Sun in Alaska.

Considering the astounding story in The New Colossus, these new chapters are some of the most exciting upcoming releases for the next few months. Hopefully, Machine can maintain the high-quality storytelling through these expansions and into any future games.
