Google Maps Street View has captured a man undergoing a mortifying moment in his life – as well as a very sore one.
He has been photographed just as he is hurled off his bike into the middle of a busy road surrounded by traffic.
The man can be seen sprawled across the tarmac as he throws out an arm to protect himself from the impact of the fall.
The unfortunate accident must have been very painful – although no one nearby has yet stopped to help him in the image.
His bike has tumbled to the tarmac to the right of him as he was hurled to the ground.
A silver car can be seen just in front of the poor man, suggesting the vehicle could have played a role in the incident.
However, a pedestrian walking along the left-hand side pavement of the road did not turn around, potentially eradicating the possibility of a collision.
Perhaps the cyclist had an unfortunately timed wobble and simply fell off his two wheels.
He is wearing shorts and a T-shirt so it’s likely the accident was a painful one.
It’s not known to what extent the man was injured, however, and the Google viewer has no choice but to speculate who the accident was caused.
This is far from the first time an accident has been captured by the Google car camera.
On another occasion, a girl was snapped by the online mapping service as she took a spectacular tumble.
Impressively, the Google camera has perfectly timed the snap, freezing her in time as she plunges towards the tarmac.
A skateboard can be seen behind her, leading the viewer to presume the toy has lead to the fall.
The tumble looks to be particularly nasty as the girl is only wearing a T-shirt and shorts and her bare knee is just inches away from slamming into the ground.
Her arm is also held out to protect herself while her left foot is thrown out to one side.
The flip-flop on her right foot seems to be sliding off – perhaps they were not the best choice of footwear for skateboarding.
It is not known whether the girl was injured in the fall, although she is fairly close to the ground in the image so it is hoped no bad injury was sustained.
She may think twice about wearing flips flops for skateboarding in the future.
A car has also been captured after it crashed in Ireland – although no one knows how the accident even happened.
The dark green vehicle has smashed straight into a huge boulder marking the corner of a turn-off.
