“Saturday Night Live’s” cold open portrayed Republican lawmakers holding a raucous victory party celebrating Judge Brett Kavanaugh‘s confirmation to the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh was sworn in earlier on Saturday following congressional hearings where Dr. Christine Blasey Ford accused him of sexually assaulting her when the two were in high school and a week-long FBI investigation.
