- The new iPhone XS and XS Max have several hardware improvements over last year’s models, but one a big one is that they can be wirelessly charged faster, which gives you one more reason to ditch charging cables for a wireless charging pad.
- Cheap wireless charging pads are slow and have small “sweet spots,” which make it easy for your phone to stop charging if its moved slightly. Better chargers cost a little more, but their faster charging speed, better design, and larger sweet spots make them a lot better to use.
- For the past year I’ve used Mophie’s Wireless Charging Pad, Anker’s PowerWave 7.5, and Belkin’s Boost to wirelessly charge my iPhone X. Each one costs less than $ 50, and will allow you to take advantage of the faster wireless charging speed the iPhone XS and XS Max are capable of.
