CHRISTOPHER WATTS AND FAMILY

  • Chris Watts is charged with murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters earlier this month in Frederick, Colorado.
  • He claims he only killed his wife because she killed their kids first, according to a police affidavit.
  • Officers have reportedly found “no evidence” to back up his claims.
  • A police source told People magazine that preliminary evidence “is consistent with him killing them all.”
  • Watts could face the death penalty if convicted.

Chris Watts, who is charged with the murder of his pregnant wife and two daughters, claimed he killed his wife because she strangled their daughters first — but police have reportedly found “no evidence” to back up his claims.

Watts, a 33-year-old father from Colorado, claimed that he killed his wife Shanann by strangling her because she had already killed their daughters Bella, four, and Celeste, three, according to a police affidavit released last week.
