Kurdish-led SDF to negotiate ‘roadmap to a democratic, decentralized Syria’ with Damascus

SDC, a political wing of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has agreed with the Syrian government to form negotiating committees, Reuters reports. The respective committees aim to bring an end to the seven-year civil war and chart a “roadmap to a democratic, decentralized Syria.” The announcement comes after a delegation of the political wing of the US-backed SDF visited Damascus earlier this week to discuss electricity infrastructure.
