Rolls-Royce has made a generous donation to Saint Richard’s Hospital in its hometown of Chichester, England, and it’s not a big check. Instead, the company has created a car called the Rolls-Royce SRH specifically for the pediatric surgery unit so that patients can drive themselves to the operating room for surgery. As you’d expect, it’s significantly smaller than any other Rolls-Royce on the road.

Styled roughly after the Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe and finished in a two-tone Andalusian White and Salamanca Blue paint scheme, the SRH could also be considered the first ever all-electric Rolls-Royce. Its 24-volt gel battery gives the car a top speed of 10 mph, although it can be limited to 4 mph if desired. The brand’s classic Spirit of Ecstasy features prominently on the hood, and the interior is trimmed in red leather.

Saint Richard’s Hospital says that this practice of allowing children to drive themselves to the operating room supposedly reduces stress in patients, and the corridors in the hospital’s pediatric unit feature traffic signs. Two lucky patients named Hari and Molly got a chance to test-drive the SRH along Rolls-Royce’s production line, and the car was unveiled in the same way that RR shows VIP customers their vehicles. Because after all, a Rolls-Royce is a Rolls-Royce, no matter the size.
