2019 Chevrolet Camaro: 1LT, SS, ZL1 all spied with updated styling

Spy photographers in Michigan caught up with the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro as it left the proving grounds for a nice family outing, with a 1LT, SS coupe, SS convertible and ZL1 all captured on camera.

While the ZL1 was wearing its current face, the other Camaros have a serious bit of camouflage up front, possibly indicating a significant styling update for 2019. Perhaps it’s just the big, blocky camo schnoz applied, but the front end seems to be less upright, with maybe even a downward-angle shark-like nose. That or Chevy just went to great lengths to hide a minor nip and tuck. What is clear, however, are changes to the headlights. The LED strip has obviously been changed, now extending further upward passed the point currently occupied by a conventional parking light. The entire headlight area seems to be a bit larger (the white car provides the best view of the new headlights).

Changes at the rear seem to be minor. The taillights would seem to have more depth and texture to them, while there is a chunky lip now running on the outer portions of the lower bumper above the tailpipes.

We have no interior images to share, and can only hypothesize that the lineup will likely adopt GM’s new 10-speed automatic transmission. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see the revised 2019 Camaro in the flesh at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
