The Tahoe can tow up to 8600 pounds, and its cabin provides quiet, comfortable refuge. A 355-hp V-8 and six-speed automatic transmission is the sole powertrain, available with rear- or all-wheel drive. Poor fuel economy and a tight third row are drawbacks, but the Tahoe’s standard infotainment system is superb.
