Flight passenger's WORST behaviour revealed: Insider stories will SHOCK you

Taking to Quora, disgruntled passengers revealed the worst behaviour they have ever witnessed.

One person asked: “What was the most disturbing thing that your seatmate did during a flight?”

Hundreds rushed to answer the question, trying to outdo each other with their bad experiences.

Annie Wilson shared: “It wasn’t a seatmate, but a woman seated behind me.

“She was mumbling to herself in the row behind me the majority of our flight from Dallas to Cleveland. At one point I heard what sounded like a sneeze. Myself and the stranger sitting next to me were sprayed with… something.

“We look at each other, confused, until the smell reaches our noses. It was vomit.”

Bob Rush said: “This happened during boarding. I was running late and was one of the last people to board.

“I go to my assigned seat to find the guy in the middle seat is huge, like 400 pounds huge. I’m looking at my seat and trying to figure out how I am going to get my 250 pound body into what is in essence 1/3 of a seat.

“While I am looking the guy says ‘too bad you’re so fat, I don’t think you’re going to fit here. Maybe you should take the next flight.’

“Now I am normally the funny guy but this hit me wrong – before I could offer a smart a** remark the flight attendant came and she knew immediately what was going on. She told the guy that since he was really taking up two seats he should pay for two seats, but she would help out this situation and let him slide.

“He gave me a sickening smile and she said ‘I’ll get you another seat, let’s get you settled.’ She promptly took me to business class and gave me the only open seat there. I did open the curtain during the flight to make sure my former seatmate saw me and when we made eye contact I gave him the biggest wave.”

Often too much drinking is a problem. Nichole Ring said: “Some man that I have never met was really drunk and kept passing out on my shoulder and drooling all over my shirt. It was gross.”

Some people treat a plane like their bathroom, as Tyler Duzan revealed: “The person next to me on one transatlantic flight took off their shoes and socks and started clipping their toenails and putting the clippings on the edge of my tray table. I asked them to stop and they got huffy with me.”

And sometimes, the bad behaviour comes from children. Daniel Kraft wrote: “Behind me was Jonathan, a precocious three year old who kept on pulling and shaking my headrest. His mother totally ignored the fact that her darling was preventing me from getting the sleep I desperately needed.

“When he started to touch my hair, I decided that I had endured enough. ‘Please tell Jonathan to sit down and to stop touching me or my seat,’ I said with the appropriate tone of annoyance.

“She answered, ‘You must be one of those people who hate children.’ ‘No lady,’ I replied, ‘I’m just a pediatrician who hates mothers who won’t control their obnoxious children.’ The passengers around me applauded.”
