X Factor 2018 is in full swing, with the show’s 15th series beginning last week.
This year sees a new panel of judges join show stalwart Simon Cowell, including Robbie Williams, Ayda Field and Louis Tomlinson.
No stranger to The X Factor himself, Louis started his career on the talent show’s famous stage.
Eight years later and he has returned to the show as a judge, but how much is the singer’s net worth?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Louis is worth a staggering $ 70 million (£54 million).
Louis career began way before One Direction, where the young Doncaster native tried his hand at fame on television.
Going down the acting path, he appeared in the ITV film drama, If I Had You, as well as BBC drama, Waterloo Road.
However, it wasn’t until 2010 that his career really took off, when the 26-year-old auditioned for the X Factor.
Louis ended up becoming a member of boy band One Direction, coming third in the show.
Despite coming third the band have gone on to become one of the most successful boy bands in history, releasing five albums and embarking on a number of sell-out world tours.
Between June 2014 and 2015, One Direction generated $ 130 million in revenue.
The band’s “Where We Are” Tour generated $ 282 million, which is the second highest gross for a vocal group in history.
In 2013 Louis was also signed as a footballer by his local club, Doncaster Rovers on a non-contractual basis.
He also launched his own record label, Triple Strings, as an imprint of One Direction’s label Syco.
Taking a break from One Direction, Louis released his first solo single Just Hold On in 2016.
In the same year, he celebrated the birth of his son with Calabasas-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, Freddie Reign.
In 2017 his second single, Back to You, was released, peaking at number eight in the UK charts.
Louis’ fellow X Factor judges are also not short of cash, with their combined net worth in the hundreds of millions.
One judge that has really made bank is pop superstar Robbie Williams.
He has sold millions of records, sold out stadiums and even performed at the World Cup 2018 Opening Ceremony.
According to reports, Robbie, along with his wife Ayda, was given a £10 million contract to appear on the 2018 series of the X Factor.
