While it may not look like much from the outside, the unusual property may just be the most luxurious underground bolt hole in Britain.
The beautiful six-bed property which lies in a Cornish meadow just ten minutes drive from Land’s End, is so well camouflaged by its grass-covered roof it looks like a mound in the middle of field.
Far from what would be expected inside a bunker, the gorgeous holiday home features a large open-plan living room that effortlessly straddles the line between modern and traditional.
The space is fitted with wooden floors, leather sofas, and there’s even a piano to entertain yourself with if you can’t find anything to watch on the 40-inch flatscreen television.
The property is also flooded with natural light throughout, thanks in large part to a series of skylights built into the roof.
The bunker’s four cosy bedrooms can be found off of the living room, comprising of two doubles and two singles.
Each room has its own skylight, complete with mini-curtains for when it’s time to hit the hay after a day of exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
There’s even a quaint patio area located at the back of the property, with newly-installed glass patio doors leading into the elegant interior.
Tori Kirwan-Taylor of cottages.com said: “The Bunker offers the one-of-a-kind opportunity to stay in a real World War II bunker, that has now been transformed into a unique holiday property that comes with everything you’d expect from a modern holiday let.
“Located in a great position to explore Cornwall and many of its sights, the property’s fascinating history adds to the excitement of a break in Cornwall.
“Both groups of friends looking for somewhere that’s one-of-a-kind or families with children will feel at home in The Bunker – with its games room, piano and added extras such as Netflix making sure there’s everything you need during their stay.”
