The 35-year-old Suits actress has been dating Prince Harry since last year, but before that there was another man in Meghan Markle’s life.
Cory Vitiello reportedly dated Meghan from 2014 to 2016.
According to the Telegraph, the pair were still dating when Meghan met her Prince in May last year.
A source close to Cory said of the break-up: “I can’t comment on that.”
While it’s almost impossible to live up to royalty, Cory Vitiello has carved out a successful career in his own right.
The Canadian native lives in Toronto, where he is a celebrated chef.
Cory fronted popular restaurant The Harbord Room before it shut down.
He also runs the chicken restaurant chain Flock.
After garnering widespread recognition for his work, Cory has been labelled a celebrity chef.
He told Toronto Life last year: “There’s no downside to being a well-known chef.
“There are thousands of great cooks in the city, and there are chefs who are more deserving of the celebrity than myself.”
While all parties are remaining tightlipped on the details of Meghan and Cory’s split, more details could be revealed in an upcoming Channel 4 programme.
