Camilla Parker Bowles, 70, is the wife of Prince Charles, 69.
The couple married in 2005 after their relationship famously caused a stir in the British media.
Less famous is the Duchess of Cornwall’s little sister Annabel Elliot.
So who is the aristocrat, and is she close with the royals?
Camilla’s sister was commissioned for a job by Prince Charles.
The future king hired his sister-in-law as the chief interior designer of his estates in the Duchy of Cornwall.
The Duchy is an enormous private estate created for the male heir of the monarch to inherit, and it is estimated to be worth £647 million.
Annabel is an interior designer and antiques collector, with a shop in Dorset running for 30 years.
She has designed the interior of 12 cottages on the Isles of Scilly, cottages at Restormel Castle and at Llwynywermod estate in Wales.
Annabel was ranked fifth most influential female interior designer in the UK in 2014 by the Daily Telegraph.
While the aristocrat is relatively unknown to the average member of the public, she is often seen with the royals.
She attended the Duchess of Cornwall’s 30th Anniversary Garden Party For The National Osteoporosis Society in July 2016.
She attended Wimbledon with Camilla that year and was photographed with Charles, Camilla and Princess Eugenie, 29, at the Quintessentially Foundation and Elephant Family’s Royal Rickshaw Auction.
Annabel is married to Simon Elliot, a landowner.
They have three children, Ben, Alice and Catherine.
Ben, 42, attended Eton before setting up Quintessentially Group.
The company runs a private member’s club in Soho.
Who are Camilla Parker Bowles’ parents?
Camilla Rosemary Shand was born to Major Bruce Shand and his wife Rosalind Cubitt, the daughter of Roland Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe, on 17 July 1947.
She was the eldest child of the couple and has a younger sister Annabel and a younger brother Mark, who sadly died in 2014.
