As with many other outlets, This Morning was debating whether or not the Prime Minister’s trip to Scotland should go ahead. Boris Johnson is expected to visit Scotland to emphasis the importance of the UK working together to fight against Covid-19.
Discussing Mr Johnson’s trip on This Morning, India Willoughby hit out at Sturgeon insisting the Prime Minister had every right to travel the UK.
“On this one, I don’t Boris can actually win. Who does Nicola think she actually is?” Willoughby exclaimed.
“You know, at the end of the day, Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, Boris is Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he has every right to be in Scotland as have the royals.”
Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has questioned how essential Mr Johnson’s trip is explaining she is “not ecstatic” about his plans.

It came after the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Michael Gove, insisted it was “only right” Mr Johnson visit those on the front line.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast he told Naga Munchetty: “The Prime Minister is going to visit those on the front line who are in charge of the roll out of the vaccine.
“We have just been discussing the importance of making sure as many people get vaccinated, that’s absolutely at the centre of our plan to deal with this pandemic.
“It’s the British Army delivering the AstraZeneca vaccine, who are doing so much to make a difference.
