A man and his dachshund were talking a stroll in the park when he decided to test out how much his dog actually cared about him.
Before his fake collapse, the two were connected via the dog lead.
Without much warning, the man hits the ground, but at the same time, clutches onto his camera phone and continues filming.
He expected his dog to spring into action and attempt in some way to help – but he was wrong.
The dog appears too occupied exploring the great outdoors, so much so that it carries on walking.
What makes the clip even funnier, is the fact the dog does turn its head around slightly as the man falls over, but continues on its way.
The video concludes with the dog getting smaller and smaller as it gets further away before disappearing out of view.
The clip was uploaded to image sharing site Imgur and has racked up more than 6.5 million views.
Fans of the video shared their thoughts on the pooch’s reaction.
One Imgur user said: “My dog does that. I love him but he’s useless.”
Another user tried to get inside the dog’s head, and posted: “Quick! I’ll go get help! However I am already at top speed. Sorry.”
The video also prompted other owner’s funny dog walking stories.
One user said: “I was walking my boyfriend’s dog on some trails I didn’t know. I turn my head she’s gone. She had gone home and left me alone in the woods.”
Someone else commented: “I did this to my dog. He sneezed on my face and went to sleep.”
