Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, attended the Endeavour Awards in London last night.
The couple held hands and beamed as they walked in to the event together in a seamless display of unity.
But Meghan went solo to present an award during the ceremony, and had to contend with an awkward moment.
Taking to the stage to award a prize for excellence in sport, the former Suits actress read out the introduction with aplomb.
She then handed over to a co-host who was on stage to read out the nominations.
But, perhaps flustered at standing next to royalty, he missed his place on the piece of paper with the nominations list on it.
The seconds ticked by as the duo then struggled to find where he should start reading from.
Eventually, the audience started to laugh, and Meghan and her co-host started to laugh nervously.
Still unable to find the right section on the cue cards, Meghan looked at the audience laughing and pulling a face, causing them to erupt in to more laughter.
When they finally found the right spot, the audience clapped and cheered, and the co-host breathed a sigh of relief.
He then started to read out the nominees with no problems.
Meghan chose to wear an Alexander McQueen suit to the event, complementing her fiancé Prince Harry.
The LA native opted for a black suit jacket and matching trousers which showed off her ankles.
She teamed this with a white long sleeved blouse and a pair of black pointed toe stilettos.
Meghan accessorised with a small black clutch bag and finished off her demure look by showing off perfectly blow dried hair.
Harry on the other hand wore a dark blue suit, a white shirt and navy tie, along with black lace up shoes.
