The BBC Two motoring show, which is fronted by former Friends star Matt, will include flying cars, martial arts and what appears to be a demolition derby.
In the first-look at the 25th series, the trio can be seen heading to Japan, the US, Italy and even Surrey for a set of new adventures.
The 60-second-clip, which was released today, shows Matt looking rather red-faced when he suffered an embarrassing technical blunder with one vehicle.
He can be heard telling his co-hosts: “And that my friends, is panache,” before the car alarm was set off.
Rory and Chris could be seen giggling as Matt tried to take back control of the situation.
Later in the action-packed teaser, Rory could be seen in a bit of a pickle himself.
During one high-speed adventure, he crashed into a fruit and vegetable stand.
Meanwhile, Chris branded the demolition derby event the “worst thing I’ve ever done” before being pushed through a partition wall by another driver.
The BBC has told fans that they should expect to see stunning photography, state-of-the-art supercars and a new bunch of celebrity guests in six hour-long episodes.
Fans are already jumping with excitement ahead of the new series and took to Twitter to comment on the trailer.
One shared: “SUMO, Now that’s what I call Ballast! Looks good, looking forward to the new series.”
Another simply added: “I can’t wait to see the new series.”
“Can’t wait for this!” a third continued. “I’m now actually really glad that the ‘split’ happened (although the circumstances were awful) because now we have two shows to watch.
“I love the new TopGear. The presenters are excellent and the all-important chemistry seems to be building too.”
Someone else wrote: “After attending the studio recording yesterday, I can promise you will not be disappointed!”
Top Gear returns to BBC Two later this year.
