Thor Ragnarok Hulk star Mark Ruffalo SLAMS Universal: 'Take THAT, what you gonna do now?'

The row has been rumbling on for years.

Marvel can not make a solo Hulk movie because Universal own the big screen rights and refuse to make any deals.

The actor at the centre of it all relished the opportunity to tell Universal exactly what he thinks of the situation.

Ruffalo had his own personal ‘Hulk smash” moment as he vented his feelings and mocked the rival studio for missing out on a huge opportunity.

Ruffalo told the BBC he was fine with not having a solo movie: “No! Are you kidding me? I get to have the best time.”

But then the green monster started to emerge and he gleefully blasted Universal and revealed how Marvel had helped him create a Hulk movie withing the existing Avengers series.

He said: “So Marvel brought me in before we shot this and they said, ‘If you had a standalone movie what would it be?’

“And I said, ’This and this and this.’ And they said, ‘How about we take that and we stretch it over the next three movies as your character arc?’”

Ruffalo also revealed the hilarity of shooting his fight scenes against Thor, who is much smaller than him on screen.

He said: “I’m doing fight scenes with a little tiny Thor, a kid’s dummy with all Thor’s clothes on and i’m kicking him and punching him and beating him up. To see it done is pretty cool.”

The star also shared the secret to the Hulk roar: “You have to come down from your huevos.”
