This plus-size woman posts semi-NAKED pictures online to promote larger bodies

The blogger, who refers to herself as a “plus size influencer”, on her account with almost 10,000 followers, posts the half naked images of herself online to help women embrace being larger.

Jasmine Grimes, a 24-year-old from San Francisco, believes posting images of herself in her underwear will encourage other larger women to feel better naked.

She poses in her underwear and a leather jacket in some pictures, holding a bat in one of them.

In another she wears a pink t-shirt and her hair in curly bunches.

The young woman has addressed the criticism she has had from users of the platform, and said: “There’s that handy block button for the sad sacks who try and pick on people.”

Addressing why she felt compelled to post the images online, she wrote on her blog: “If I wanted to see representation of women like me I was going to have to join in and start posting my d*** self.”

Jasmine’s pictures have had hundreds of likes, and many comments thanking her for posting them.

One wrote: “This is such an inspirational photo!”

Jasmine uses the hashtag #MyBodyMyRules under all her images, alongside her emotional captions.

Under one image she wrote: “I’ve never understood why rolls, cellulite, and scars are always edited out of photos when so many women and men have them and they are a part of the average human body.

“Stop hating yourself and embrace your perfect imperfections.”

Other plus size women who have amassed huge amounts of fans include Brit Iskra Lawrence and US model Ashley Graham.

Ashley Graham put on an eye-popping display in a series of racy snaps showcasing her ample assets as she frolicked half naked on a beach.

Iskra Lawrence posted a video of herself dancing in her underwear to her Instagram account.
