While showing ITV viewers how to cook the ultimate Sunday roast, the Strictly Come Dancing evictee enquired as to the joint of meat the TV chef was using.
However, instead of simply explaining verbally, he demonstrated on the 57-year-old right in front of her husband Eamonn Holmes.
The 56-year-old then apologised to the presenter, also 57, who was sat at a nearby table with a guest.
“So, this is loin of pork. Pretty much when you roast, you roast leg, shoulder or loin,” Phil had started.
The 56-year-old continued: “But, people say to me, ‘My crackling doesn’t get crispy’, and it’s because if it is a rolled joint…”
It was at that point Ruth asked “where’s the loin?” and he pointed to her back, below her ribs: “Here… right across there.”
“There’s no fat on me!” she quickly exclaimed, as Phil continued: “Turn around? Right down here. You’ve got a shoulder which is a little bit fatty – not you – or leg/rump.”
