The reigning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! queen, revealed that she feared she had infected the royal couple with a tropical disease after shaking their hand.
“This is the first time that I have ever met royalty,” Toff explained backstage. “I have been in the same pub as Prince Harry but it just doesn’t count.”
She went on to add: “I basically told him that I just got back from Australia and I won in the jungle.
“He went, ‘Oh, you didn’t get any of those awful diseases, did you?’
“And I was thinking, ‘No, I don’t think so’. And then I was doubting myself and said, ‘Oh my god, I just shook your hand, maybe I brought back something nasty from Australia.’”
Toff, 23, continued: “And then he went, ‘Did you do all of those horrible things?’
“And I said, ‘Yes, I did Charles. I did them all.’”
It came after it was revealed that host Eamonn Holmes was caught in a backstage spat with Piers Morgan regarding the royal visit.
The presenters both fought over who should meet the Prince of Wales first.
Piers was seen arguing: “Eamonn is pulling the MBE stunt. So he is trying to muscle to the front.
“But I think given that I have met more of the royals more often than anybody else, I should be at the front. But at the moment there is a bit of argy bargy.”
Meanwhile Eamonn boasted: “I’ve heard that they watch quite a lot of TV so it’s nice to know that they know who we are.”
The 58-year-old was later seen breaking royal protocol as he embraced the Duchess of Cornwall before kissing her.
He greeted her: “My favourite royal, how are you?”
