The Walking Dead season 8: Negan’s mystery passenger revealed – and it’s NOT who you think

’s super villain was held hostage by Jadis (played by Pollyanna MacIntosh) in the first half of episode 14 Still Gotta Mean Something.

Megan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was eventually released and set about returning to the home of the Saviors.

But as he made his way back to the Sanctuary, he comes across a character on the side of the road.

He could be seen pulling over, opening the door and letting the mystery character into the car.

In the preview for the upcoming episode, Negan can be heard telling the unseen person: “If s**t could s**t, it wouldn’t look as s****y as you.”

Negan can then be seen creeping up on Dwight (Austin Amelio) when he arrives back at the Sanctuary compound.

Following the episode, fans flocked to social media to speculate who the mystery person was.

Theories suggested the passenger could be Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) or Gregory (Xander Berkeley).

However, it seems the identity of the mystery character has been revealed.

The credits for episode 15, Worth, reveal that the mystery passenger could be Laura.

Laura’s return could mean Dwight is in big trouble when Negan arrives back at the Sanctuary.

In the midseason finale, she worked out Dwight is the mole who has been secretly assisting the Alexandrians.

Will Laura inform Negan of Dwight’s betrayal?

However, it is likely that Dwight won’t be the only member of the Saviors who fill face the wrath of Negan.

The barbed wire baseball bat wielding villain is likely to be angry with Simon (Steven Ogg).

Simon wiped out the entire Scavengers community, with Jadis revealing his actions to Negan in episode 14.

Negan was horrified when he learned Simon had disobeyed him.

He will probably be even more annoyed when he hears about the Saviors attack on the Hilltop after he went missing.

The official synopsis for episode 15 reads: “Aaron continues searching for allies; Daryl and Rosita take action and confront an old friend.”

The Walking Dead airs Monday on FOX at 9pm.
