Tanya has already had a brief brush with the limelight after writing one of the Black Eyed Peas star’s biggest hits, The Hardest Ever, and supporting Bruno Mars.
After teasing that he “knew” which contestant he was going to pinch from one of his judges all along, the star shocked absolutely nobody when he pressed his shiny white button for Tanya.
Even Jennifer Hudson, 35, shrieked: “I knew it, I knew it.”
And it turned out she wasn’t the only one, as the audience at suggested the swipe had been planned from the get-go.
“That was so predictable #thevoiceuk did #TeamGavin and #teamwill agree on this before the show?” asked one fan, as another sighed: “That was pretty much predictable @iamwill considering she wrote one of your song #TheVoiceUK.”
One more cried: “What an absolute fix!!!!!!!!!!!!”
A fourth hissed: “You just knew Will would steal – she was THE one, Will,” before one more: “Can’t work out how this isn’t slightly ‘fixed’. If Jennifer ‘steals’ now there’ll be no point in the rest of tonight’s show.”
The allegations come after last year’s coach Paloma Faith, 35, confirmed that she and Ricky Wilson, 39, planned their steals together ahead of the Battle round.
Paloma dropped eventual winner Kevin Simm from her team in a shock move, which she admitted was agreed with the Kaiser Chiefs singer ahead of the show.
“Ricky and I agreed beforehand that he would take Kevin,” she told the Mirror. “I sent Kevin an email afterwards to tell him I thought he could win the whole competition and to explain that I knew he’d be saved.”
