Micky Cohen, 24, was appearing on the ITV talent competition when nerves got the better of her.
Before her audition, Micky said: “I’m going to remember this for the rest of my life and tell the grandkids about The Voice.”
The contestant performed a stripped-back version of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s Despacito.
However, the hopeful unfortunately chocked during the song, meaning the judging panel were left wondering why there was a slight gap in the performance.
Jennifer was unsure about what was going on and asked: “What just happened?”
Unfortunately for Micky, not a single judge turned around and she was sent home.
New judge Olly Murs quipped: “I thought it was a bit all over the place in the first part.”
Jennifer added: “Yeah, she lost her way a bit!”
Will.i.am added that the contestant was obviously “nervous”, but noticed the stumble.
He said: “She was so nervous. There was a part that happened where she stumbled.”
Sir Tom Jones noted: Yeah, she stumbled!” prompting Olly to add: “It’s a shame.”
Micky was later seen to break down in front of the cameras, asking the ITV crew to pause filming.
She said: “Sorry, just give me a moment,” before broadcasting her exit walk.
Fans of the show took to social media following the stumble.
One viewer said: “WOWW!!! This girl is absolutely stunning!!! Shame she messed up her line in the song, it’s all Cohen wrong #TheVoiceUK.”
“#Thevoiceuk @giffgaff Micky Cohen – ‘Despacito’ I think this was only released last week. Hope that was enough time. Brave 24 year old,” posted another.
A third added: “Oh man, sorry it didn’t turn out well. You looked amazing and guess nerves got the better of you. Massive respect for getting up there and having the balls to do it in the first place!”
It comes as Jennifer was left baffled by another contestant over their unusual choice of song.
The Voice UK 2018 continues next Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
