The very sexy dress Meghan Markle wore to spend Christmas Day with the Queen

Meghan Markle, 36, wore a dress with a daringly low neckline for her first Christmas with the Queen and Prince Philip at Sandringham.

Meghan has already caused a stir with her fashion choices, with many of them selling out within hours of the the future Duchess wearing them.

Now the dress chosen by the fashionable LA native for Christmas Day has been revealed by the brand she wore.

Club Monaco posted the news on their Instagram account, and wrote: “A very short-term #fbf to Christmas Day when we got a peek at the lovely @meghanmarkle wearing our velvet Tay dress to visit the royal family.”

The brand revealed that Meghan’s stylist Jessica Mulroney confirmed that Meghan chose the number for the big day.

A deep red velvet dress which falls below the knee, the piece has a very low neckline, which plunged down below the sternum.

Ruffled sleeves create some drama and shows off a narrow waist tied with a bow.

Meghan wore the dress from the Canadian brand with £630 Stuart Weitzman’s Hiline high-heeled suede boots in brown and a brown Chloe handbag worth £1,050.

The Tay dress costs £220 from the brand and is still available online. 

Club Monaco said of the dress: “The velvet effect. In a rich jewel-toned burgundy with tiered, ruffled sleeves and an effortless wrap design. 

“Wear it as a dress for nights out or open over jeans and a turtleneck for days off.”

Meghan wore a camel coat as she walked to Sandringham church with Prince Harry on Christmas Day. 

Who are Meghan Markle’s family? Meghan’s mother Doria Radlan, 60, is a therapist and social worker.

According to Meghan’s blog, her mother, who is African-American, would take her on holidays to remote and impoverished places – sparking the actor’s interest in philanthropy. 

Thomas W. Markle, Meghan’s father, is a cinematographer.

Meghan was introduced to Hollywood when she would accompany her father on set while he worked on TV shows like Married with Children and General Hospital.
