The Punisher: Rosario Dawson Won't Appear in Netflix's Marvel Series

Let’s hope The Punisher doesn’t need any medical advice when he finally arrives on Netflix.

Rosario Dawson, who has thus far appeared on all of the streamer’s Marvel series as nurse Claire Temple, will not show up on The Punisher due to a scheduling conflict.

“At the end of the day, it’s really hard to get all of those casts together,” Dawson said in an interview with Collider. “There are so many times where I really want it to happen. I really wanted to do a cameo on The Punisher, but it doesn’t always work that way.”

In addition to her past runs on Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, Dawson will appear in the upcoming Defenders miniseries, debuting Aug. 18.
