The Originals Photos: Davina Returns With a Message About the Hollow

Following last week’s episode of The Originals, during which Vincent reluctantly called upon Davina to serve as New Orleans’ new magical gatekeeper, actress Danielle Campbell finally appears in the flesh this Friday (The CW, 8/7c). And like most visitors from the spirit world, she comes bearing a message — in this case, crucial information regarding the Mikaelsons’ ongoing battle against the Hollow.

The episode also features a special appearance by Matt Davis, reprising the role of The Vampire Diaries‘ Alaric Saltzman. In addition to bringing a valuable bone from Mystic Falls, Alaric also tells the crew about the supernatural school he founded with Caroline. (And as TVD executive producer Julie Plec recently told TVLine, “The idea of the school as a safe haven for young supernatural beings certainly has a lot of relevance for Hope Mikaelson.”)
