The One Show aired this evening and the show’s presenters, Matt Baker and Angelica Bell, welcomed Line of Duty star Stephen Graham.
The actor played Jon Corbett on the BBC One police crime drama, and he’s been very sinister indeed.
When the actor appeared on the show’s sofa, Matt and Angelica wasted no time in asking him about Line of Duty.
That was when Stephen let slip a bit of a spoiler ahead of the show’s finale which will air this Sunday.
“For anybody who is into the series watching it we will have no spoilers here because the big finale is on Sunday,” said Angelica.
“So, have you told anybody about any of the big secrets that will be revealed, or can you keep a secret?” she asked.
“No, because I don’t know myself if I’m honest, yeah,” replied Stephen mysteriously.
“Did you not ask? You didn’t want to find out at all?” asked Matt.
“Look at the way I’m looking at you. Am I lying or not?” teased Stephen with a smile.
“I don’t really know,” he added.
Stephen was then asked whether people have come up to him in public places and ask him what will happen in Line of Duty.
“I’ve been working, so I haven’t been home that much, but people have been coming up to me in the street, and people have come up to me and gone: ‘I hate the way you got your throat…’”
Stephen then made a throat-cutting gesture across his neck and realised that he may have just let slip a rather big spoiler for the series,
He became very embarrassed by his gesture and turned away from the show’s presenters.
The actor laughed it off and managed to compose himself as he said: “Yeah. They’re really good. They just come up to me and say. ‘Who’s H?’
