The one diet plan trick you need for weight loss, according to Joe Wicks

A weight loss diet plan trick that takes only a little extra time every day is the most important thing dieters need to do to lose weight, according to Joe Wicks, also known as The Body Coach.

Joe, 31, from Epsom, has risen to fame with his simple diet ethos and easy recipes.

The curly-haired Briton, who keeps his 2 million Instagram followers updated, has devised The 90 Day Plan, which he claims has transformed followers.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk Joe revealed the one habit he recommends anyone looking to lose weight starts today.

Joe said that “without a doubt” cooking at home and taking meals to work is the single most important stage in weight loss.

He said: “If you don’t make your own food at home and carry it to work you are going to be relying on fast food or convenience food and that’s the food that is making us unhealthy, is making us tired and sluggish.

“Definitely the key is prepping your meals.”

Joe recommended making your lunches for the week on a Sunday, however, you could also make enough for lunch the next day when cooking dinner.

One key element of this is finding time to prepare, but Joe claims sleeping well is the key to battling feeling as though you have a lack of time.

He said: “If you don’t respect the quality of your sleep you’re never going to want to get up and do you work out, you’re never going to want to get up and make food and take control.”

Joe, who is currently is helping British Olympian Mo Farah train television presenter George Lamb to run his first ever marathon and documenting it all via a new podcast on Audible, claims the issue of having enough time is a mental road block.

He said:  “If you don’t find time to cook your own food and do your workouts you are never going to have a fit and healthy body, that’s the reality.

“You have to remove the barrier of time from your head and think you know what I can get up a little earlier, I can make an omelette, I can do  a HIIT session.”

Joe is turning his expertise to a new podcast, an 18-week marathon training diary featuring Sir Mo Farah, Joe Wicks and George Lamb.

Weaving together intimate audio diary entries from George with expert advice on sports science, equipment, nutrition, routines, rest and everything in-between, Mo-Joe captures George’s determination – and at times, dread – as he prepares for the 26.2 mile race at this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon on 22nd April 2018.

Mo-Joe, is available now at www.audible.co.uk/run, free with Audible’s 30 day trail.
