‘The ledge has run out!’ Phillip Schofield BREAKS DOWN as he dangles from cliff edge

The This Morning presenter left viewers panicked as he clambered down the world’s highest commercial abseil.

During tonight’s instalment of the ITV travel show, the 54-year-old put his life in the hands of a cheeky instructor who warned Phillip that he had a “surprise”.

“Oh right,” Phillip replied. The surprise being that his cliff edge was about run out.

“That’s a worry,” he gasped.

Peering down at the endless stretch of mountain below, he shrieked: “Oh my god, that is a big surprise. There’s nothing underneath me!”

He shrieked: “My mouth has never been so dry.”

Though, he soon came around as he looked up and realised he was surrounded by the most spectacular scenery imaginable.
