Sir Bradley Wiggins
Britain’s most decorated Olympian has been forced to quit The Jump after breaking his leg.
He announced on Twitter: “Gutted to be leaving The Jump. I wanted to give you an injury update.
“Seen a specialist, I have a small leg fracture and need to rest for 3-6 weeks. Good news no surgery or cast required.
“Huge thanks to the crew and good luck to all of the cast.
“No horror smash, small training injury which means I can’t compete. No terrible break, no cast, just need to rest it.”
Channel 4 has confirmed that Sir Bradley will appear on the show up until episode four (Sunday February 26), due to the way that the series is filmed.
