The Grand Tour season 4 spoilers: Best driver revealed – and it’s not who you think

The Grand Tour season three plunged viewers into a number of situations which pitted Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond against one-another.

The trio have been battling it out since their days on Top Gear, but there have always been varying results in each competition.

However, it seems like the most talented member of the show (when it comes to driving) has now been revealed, according a member of The Grand Tour’s team.

Abbie Eaton, test driver for the show, appeared on a video for YouTube account Drive Tribe to explain her answer.

Addressing the camera she explained: “For me, the best driver out of the three boys has gotta be Clarkson.

“He’s quite decisive on the track, he’s not scared of going sideways and he just attacks.”

While the James May fans will be devastated their Captain Slow isn’t the best driver, it is certainly a surprise to hear Jeremy is the best.

Abbie later divulged her first memory meeting Jeremy on the show.

She continued: “The first time I met Jeremy was at the filming in one of the tents.

“I walked into his RV and it was [executive producer] Andy Wilman who introduced me, and the very first thing that he said to me was: ‘Can you do me a favour and say ‘Toast?’’

“Immediately I knew why he was getting me to say ‘toast’. Obviously, I’m from Yorkshire and when I say toast it doesn’t sound like ‘toast’ like you southerners would call it. So, that was my first introduction to Clarkson.”

Jeremy’s penchant for picking on people was seen in earnest in a recent clip which showed him taking on his colleagues.

The Grand Tour Twitter account recently posted a video of the trio getting angry throughout the third season.

In one instance Jeremy could be seen driving extremely close to James whilst his car was full of water.

Jeremy then stopped suddenly, causing James to brake hard, drenching him even further in water.

In a later clip Jeremy yelled: “I’ve had a great idea!” before Richard screamed at the camera as his car hung off a cliff’s edge.

Shortly after, Richard could be seen driving into Jeremy’s car, forcing him to erupt into a roaring fury.

He yelled: “Hammond! You f*****g moron!”

This strange turn of events was then followed by James throwing rocks at his colleague, finishing off the trio’s angry outing on the show.

The Grand Tour season four is set to air on Amazon Prime.
