Will there be another series of The Grand Tour?
The Grand Tour season four was confirmed by Clarkson at the end of the current series finale.
However, he revealed that the next series would be no longer feature the studio audience segments.
Instead, The Grand Tour season four will be a series of road trip specials, which will air at some point in the future.
The Grand Tour producer Andy Willman told Radio Times: “After the Mongolia adventure there will be one more conventional show, the finale for this series.
“Then we’re pulling down the curtain on the studio-based episodes so that we can just concentrate on big Specials.”
Where will they go in The Grand Tour season 4?
In his closing monologue to the audience, Clarkson said: “The show as you know it is ending and that’s very upsetting for us: the audience and this sort of thing and the track.
“But who’d like to see us doing more big adventures? Road trips? Specials?”
However, he did not reveal where in the world these road trips would take place.
Hammond added “there is still so much of the world we haven’t been to,” suggesting the group could visit some new locations.
These Grand Tour locations will be revealed as filming starts in the coming months.
When will The Grand Tour season 4 be out?
The release date for The Grand Tour season four has not been revealed yet.
The previous seasons were released in November 2016, December 2017 and January 2019.
As such, we might expect season four to be released in February 2020.
However, the series of specials could be released sooner if it means that less episodes have to be made.
