The Chase viewers in meltdown as 'most beautiful contestant ever' makes THIS epic blunder

Blonde bombshell waitress Jodie sent The Chase viewers rushing to social media to declare their love for her when she appeared on the ITV quiz show today.

“Well it has to be said, Jodie that’s currently on The Chase – you’re looking extremely extremely well,” one fan gushed.

Another proclaimed: “Jodie on The Chase is a solid 11/10.”

“Jodie on The Chase must be the most gorgeous contestant ever,” a third social media user gushed.

However, as viewers fawned over her stunning looks, Jodie struggled with a couple of questions in her cash builder round.

She made a classic quiz error when host Bradley Walsh, 56, asked: “What Midlands city is nicknamed England’s second city?”

After a brief pause Jodie guessed Manchester, but the correct answer was of course Birmingham.

Viewers couldn’t believe that her lack of geographical knowledge and slammed her for wrongly stating that the northern city was in the Midlands.

“Can’t believe this woman on The Chase thought Manchester was in the Midlands, hahaha that’s rest offensive,”(sic) one Twitter user remarked.

Jodie faced some tricky questions when she came head-to-head with Chaser Anne Hegerty in a bid to bring the £3,000 from her cash builder back to the team.

Eventually she was caught by the Chaser, but even being knocked out of the quiz couldn’t put out the fire of the viewers’ love for Jodie, as one tweeted: “Bad luck Jodie. I still love you.”

When seat four contestant Andy was also caught by Anne after he bravely went for the high offer of £51,000, just two hopefuls were left to take on the final chase.

Only managing 15 correct answers, they were soon caught by The Governess and sadly went home empty handed.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
