The Chase contestant SLAPS Bradley Walsh after he hints she got final question wrong

HR supervisor Elizabeth was less than impressed with the quiz master, 56, and was seen hitting his arm after he joked about her answer.

The 34-year-old was asked: “The 1960s are often described as being what?” to which she replied: “Swinging”.

Her answer made Bradley laugh before he cheekily hinted that she had chosen the wrong option out of the multiple choice options.

Bradley teasingly informed her: “You’ve put – oh no!” She exclaimed at him: “Don’t! This is not the time!”

Elizabeth was seen jokingly whacking Bradley on the arm for his comments as her answer was revealed to be correct and she was through to the final found with £3,000 from the cash builder.

The ITV presenter could be seen laughing as Elizabeth burst into a fit of giggles over the moment.

The final round of tonight’s episode of The Chase saw a three-member team consisting of Elizabeth, Ronan and Zoe taking on Chaser Jenny Ryan – better known by her moniker The Vixen.

However, the trio were beaten with 28 seconds still left on the clock after Jenny smashed the questions despite three opportunities for push backs.

Bradley commiserated the team, telling them as he took away their £6,000: “You played really well.”

The Vixen added: “They were tough questions and 18 on any score was really good. So you should be really chuffed.”

The latest instalment follows on from a tense confrontation yesterday involving Chaser Mark Labbett – also known as The Beast – who hit back at a contestant for mocking Jenny.

Mark said: “Do you want to know how good The Vixen is? She’s way better than you and I’m gonna whoop you for that comment. I got a message from backstage. Destroy her! Written in red lipstick.”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
