Just three more episodes of the hit CBS show remain and Penny Hofstadter star Cuoco has posted an emotional video on Instagram of her thoughts as the finale approaches.
The video features her and her dog as they reflect on filming.
She told fans: “There’s only three more Big Bangs after this – that’s crazy,’ she began. ‘I had so many friends and family here tonight. I feel very loved and supported. Everybody wants to be there for the last few and it feels really, really good so thank you for that.
“These next few weeks are going to be very, very unforgettable.”
The star has spoken out previously about the ‘heartbreaking’ finale and revealed why the live audience will be cut for the season finale.
She told E!News: “We’re actually going to pre-shoot the whole thing, so we’ll have shot it, and then we will have an audience taping. That was probably because they knew I’d be crying the entire time.
“So we still want the audience experience. We’re gonna still do the audience, but we will have taped it and shot it beforehand, so if the tears come unexpectedly, then that’s just what’s going to happen, because I guarantee you it’s going to happen.”
When the news of the air date for the final episode was announced, Cuoco put it on her Instagram story with the caption: “I’m not crying, you’re crying.”
She also admitted in August last year she was “drowning in tears,” at the announcement the show was to end.
She is clearly in love with the show and admitted to PopSugar about the ending: “It’s going to be a surprise to all of us. Everyone is struggling to let go of this show, even the writers.
“I know that we’re all going to freak out reading that final episode. I hope that whatever loose ends they felt [they] needed to tie up will be tied up.
“I’m sure they want to see where all these characters end up, and I think the writers don’t want to leave some sort of ending.
“They want these characters to live on in people’s minds and hearts, so it’s going to have to be written in a very special way.”
Seemingly the Big Bang Theory’s biggest fan, she will also release a behind-the-scenes book of over 2,000 polaroids taken by her since 2006.
She clearly wants to cling onto the hit show for as long as possible after the emotional season finale.
