The Apprentice Season 14 FIRST LOOK: Candidates spotted shooting scenes in central London

Lord Alan Sugar’s newest potential apprentices have been captured shooting scenes for the new season of The Apprentice at The Scoop at More London.

A host of business hopefuls, dressed in formal attire, were seen walking along the famous footpath that regularly features in the opening sequence of the BBC show.

However, notorious boss Lord Sugar, 71, was nowhere to be seen when the cameras were rolling, suggesting this shoot was strictly for candidates only.

The photo was shared on Twitter by Wayne Venuto, who captioned the image: “Filming of the new #Apprentice trailer advert this morning in London! – at The Scoop at More London.”

Earlier this year Lord Sugar called on budding entrepreneurs to apply for season 14 of the series.

In a video posted on the show’s official Twitter page, he said: “Now, I’m looking for my next business partner.

“If you’d like it to be you apply now to bbc.co.uk/apprentice.”

Participants who take part in the show compete for a chance to win a £250,000 investment and the opportunity to partner with Lord Sugar.

Over the course of 12 weeks, the 18 competitors will compete in a variety of tasks until just one victor remains.

Each week the contenders are divided into two teams – led by designated Project Managers.

The winning group are rewarded with treats, while the losing team’s Project Manager and two colleagues must face the boardroom judges.

Last year James White and Sarah Lynn were both crowned winners of The Apprentice and received a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk after her win, Sarah said: “I think James and I really did have a good bond going into that process, throughout it.

“It was the case of when we got to the final boardroom you know, business is business, nothing’s personal.

“[We said] we’ll both go in and do what we have to do, and may the best man or the best woman win.

“So it was just an even better feeling to have that respect for each other and go in and do what we have to do and come out as joint winners.”

She continued: “It was great because we had a hug and there was no downside, it was a win-win.

“Whatever people think on the outside, you do form those bonds, you spend a lot of time with these people and you learn about their lives and their families.”

The Apprentice will return to BBC One later this year.
