The Apprentice 2017: Contestant reveals what it's REALLY like living with bickering girls

Elliot Van Emden was fired in week three of Lord Alan Sugar’s search for his next business partner and he has now spoken out.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 31-year-old opened up about what it’s like living and working with the squabbling females 24/7.

He explained: “When it comes to business, they get down to it. People leave their business at the door.

“You’re living with all these people and naturally, with 18 people randomly together, you will warm to some and not others, but that’s life.”

The self-confessed “Tory Boy” insisted that he isn’t bitter about leaving the BBC competition at such an early stage, praising Lord Sugar for the opportunity.

Elliot said: “I loved the opportunity. I got fired for lack of contribution and Lord Sugar looked me in the eye and said: “You’re not for me,” and that’s all part of the process.

“He said some nice comments about me on the You’re Fired show and he wished me well.”

Elliot is now working on his business plan which was rejected by the tycoon and revealed that it has a “political” edge.

The scheme will help parents source affordable tuition fees for their children, should they need private educational support.

The Apprentice continues tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
