The USA hit show Suits will go on to continue with season eight without series leads Meghan Markle (Rachel) and Patrick J. Adams (Mike) following the announcement the pair will be leaving after the finale in May.
As the couple’s rollercoaster storyline hurtles to its conclusion there’s still plenty more drama to come though.
Amid their wedding preparations, the latest episode saw Rachel ask her fiancé Mike to fill out a couples questionnaire with the aim of working out if their values are truly matched.
However an explosive argument ensued when the paralegal discovered that her loving partner hadn’t kept his promise to fill it out.
Mike assured his wife-to-be that he simply wasn’t the kind of person to plan for the future, but Rachel wasn’t impressed.
“Well I am,” she snapped. “I never really stopped to wonder if we want the same things.”
Earlier in the episode, the couple had already spoken about their future life together and played a game of cards called “Bulls***”.
Enjoying some time together fantasising about an existence away from law, Mike suggested: “We live in San Diego… We surf every morning, work two hours a day and love each other all night.”
Rachel then insisted: “Iceland… It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
“Living there together for a year would be the adventure of a lifetime.”
“You’re good”, Mike declared.
“Oh, you have no idea,” Rachel said with a cheeky smile.
Despite their spat, it wasn’t long before the couple managed to reconcile, chalking the atmosphere down to pre-wedding stress.
The episode comes amid Meghan’s real-life wedding preparations.
The 36-year-old star is due to tie the knot with Prince Harry, 33, on May 19 at Windsor Castle.
Meghan has appeared calm and collected while planning the royal wedding 2018 unlike her on-screen counterpart.
When the pair announced their engagement Harry was quick to share that they were focusing on the upcoming event however, as they gear up for all their new royal duties together.
Meghan played the role of Rachel for seven years on the show having joined the series’ pilot in 2011.
The activist is now set to become a member of the royal family as well as taking British citizenship with the partnership.
Suits season seven continues Wednesdays on the USA network and seasons one to six are available to stream on Netflix in the UK.
