Strictly Come Dancing: Has Ruth Langsford signed up? This Morning star hints at talks

The presenter has fuelled reports that she has signed up to this year’s series as she revealed she’d love to take part, but nothing has been confirmed “yet”.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she commented: “I absolutely love Strictly. I’m a massive fan and I’m always very flattered when my name is in the mix.

“They haven’t confirmed anything yet. If they asked me to do the show I would absolutely love to do it.”

When asked which professional dancer she would like to be partnered with, Ruth remained impartial.

“I think they’re all fantastic,” she noted. “Every single one of those professional dancers are amazing so I think it would just be the most incredible experience to learn how to dance.

“Everybody I know who has ever done it just always says, ‘If they ever ask you, do it, it’s amazing and fantastic and so exciting’. So I wouldn’t be as bold as to say who I would want to partner with because I think they’re all wonderful.”

Ruth has teamed up with Young’s Seafood to give busy families, who rarely get the chance to sit down for dinner together, a helping hand.

Speaking about why the campaign was so important to her, the 57-year-old explained: “As a working mother, like so many women out there and a lot of my friends, you’re always looking for quick ways to make a fairly decent family meal.

“Young’s have made these recipes to give you inspiration, they’re always looking for ways to encourage people to cook more.”

She went on to add that doesn’t allow husband Eamonn Holmes in the kitchen as she loves to cook.

“I like that Eamonn doesn’t cook because I’m quite territorial,” the mother-of-one confessed. “It suits us very well. He doesn’t want to cook and I don’t want him in the kitchen.”
