Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Karim Zeroual’s fate on BBC show confirmed after illness

Earlier in the week, Amy appeared on It Takes Two by herself while Karim recovered.

She told Zoe Ball her celebrity partner was “disappointed” not to be on the show, but added he was trying his best to get ready for tonight’s show.

Amy explained: “He’s got the lurgy so he’s resting up because obviously we need him righting fit, ready for Saturday night.”

Karim himself added on Instagram: “It started off with a sore throat, just a bit of a cold. (I’m) just run down, really just working hard. I just needed some bed time.
