Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line-up: Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice REUNITE for special

A post by Strictly Come Dancing champion Joe McFadden appeared to reveal there will be a special edition of Pointless, airing in the latter half of 2018.

The snap which was shared with his 45,600 followers showed him posing with AJ Pritchard, Oti Mabuse, Debbie McGee, Lesley Joseph, Katya Jones, Ore Oduba and Giovanni.

He captioned it: “What do you mean we’re pointless celebrities – how very dare you…

“Rubbish name but a great show and lovely getting to see this gorgeous bunch again.

“On screens September,” he revealed.

It can be assumed the celebrity edition of Pointless will be released to coincide with the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative of BBC for comment.

Earlier this week, rumours began emerging for the October series and if they come true, it could be one of the best yet.

This Morning star Holly Willoughby is one of the big names to be following in Ruth Langsford’s footsteps for a place on the show.

Former Coronation Street bombshell Michelle Keegan is also rumoured for Strictly, along with Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain.

In a shock twist no one saw coming, star of The Chase, Mark Labbett, could be about to put on his dancing shoes along with former Girls Aloud singers Cheryl.

Elsewhere, the official line-up for the Sport Relief edition has been confirmed.

England and Arsenal player Alex Scott has been partnered with Pasha Kovalev for the series.

Beloved football commentator Chris Kamara will be hoping to take his comedic skills to the dance floor.

Completing the line-up is dishy French footballer David Ginola.

It is currently unknown who will partner Chris and David at this point in time.

Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return later this year on BBC One.
