As the ultimate dance looms for the celebrities, Joanne Clifton has said that Debbie, 59, should be wary of Alexandra Burke, 29.
The 34-year-old professional believes the X Factor winner has something the ex-magician’s assistant is lacking.
“Going into the final this weekend, I think for Debbie and Alexandra they’ve each got the opposite strengths and they’ve both got to find a balance.” Joanne revealed in an article in Radio Times.
She was quick to compare the two in terms of the level of performance they have been delivering on the dance floor.
“Debbie has got so much precision, lines and beauty, that I need a little bit more performance,” she continued.
“Whereas Alexandra has got the right amount of character, attack and performance and she needs to make sure she’s got a balance of that and precision.”
Joe McFadden and Gemma Atkinson will be joining Alexandra and Debbie in the grand finale.
The celebrities and their partners will be taking on one of their past routines as chosen by the judging panel.
Joanne, who won the show with Ore Oduba last year, reflected on who she thought was capable of winning the coveted Glitterball trophy.
The dancer speculated: “It really could be anybody who wins Strictly this weekend and I think it’s just going to depend on what happens on the night.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
