This Morning favourite Ruth Langsford, 47, was the third contestant confirmed to be taking part in the BBC dancing competition when the line-up was revealed last month, and she certainly looks ready to steal the show in the first look teaser.
The clip opens with a close up shot of former X Factor winner and now Strictly Come Dancing hopeful Alexandra Burke, 29, focusing on her red lacquered lips as she begins to sing the show’s iconic theme tune.
She is soon joined by comedian Susan Calman, 42, and a host of the professional dancers as the camera zooms out to capture them in all their glittering glory.
A sexy ariel shot of the pros laying on the ground and performing some smouldering choreography with their bare, bronzed pins is then followed by more jovial scenes as some of this year’s boys, EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, 35, Reverend Richard Coles, 55, Sunday Brunch chef Simon Rimmer, 54, and Holby City star Joe McFadden, 41, are shown larking about with singer Mollie King, 35, and Debbie McGee, 58, accompanied by some classic Strictly pizzazz in the form of dramatic feather fans.
However, Ruth ensures that all eyes are on her as she is seen pouring her killer curves into a breathtaking black gown with matching elbow length gloves as she strokes her fingers seductively up the length of her arm, showing off the glitzy ensemble.
The ITV presenter looks to be getting straight into the swing of the Strictly life, appearing very at home as she shoots a sultry glance over her shoulder at the camera, perched atop a pyramid formed of her fellow dancers and their fans.
Every star taking to the dance floor this year in a bid to take home the coveted glitterball trophy plays their part in the trailer, suited and booted and ready to give the ballroom and latin routines their best shot.
The clip will no doubt heighten excitement as the Strictly fan base buzzes with anticipation for the new series.
Ruth also shared the trailer with her 357,000 Instagram followers earlier today, gushing: “Had the BEST day filming this… Think we scrub up alright don’t we?!”
She later posted a glamorous snap of the professional line-up, along with the caption: “SO gorgeous! Now which one of you is going to be my dance partner? Pleeeease tell me!”
