The duo have set tongues wagging with rumours of a romance and this evening viewers thought they had caught them out.
After sailing though to the quarter-finals, Mollie jumped into her partner’s arms with pure joy.
However, once the lights went out, eagle-eyed audience members tweeted claiming they saw Mollie and AJ smooch.
“I’m pretty sure Mollie and Aj kissed once the lights came off,” noted one viewer, as another agreed: “Did anyone else notice what looked like a sneaky kiss between Mollie and AJ when their lights went off after they were declared safe? #Strictly.”
Clearly realising she may have dropped them in it, Claudia tried to divert attention away from the background roars.
“That is your first nine. Week 10 and it’s your highest score,” she enthused, before caving in. “They really are shouting ‘kiss’, we’ll ignore them.”
As the pair giggled away, their friends continued: “Do it now!”
